Description

Start the journey at 7:00 AM departing from our Bus Terminal in Cusco city.  First stop will be in Andahuaylillas town, where we visit the famous Colonial Church San Pedro de Andahuaylillas. Get a guided tour in the church, get marvelous with its colonial golden canvases and don't miss the famous painting wall called: The way to Hell and The way to Heaven. Following with the trip, on second stop in the archaeological complex of Raqchi. See the Temple of Wiracocha God surrounded by artificial lagoon and Inca houses and dozens of Inca Granaries. Take a rest to Sit down for a buffet lunch in Sicuani town to taste delicious Peruvian food and recharge energy Let's continue to the highest point on the route on: Abra La Raya, a geographical and political border between Cusco and Puno. See the imposing Chimboya mountain towering at 5300 meters high. Finishing our trip, visit the Lithic Museum of Pucara and discover an ancient civilization that emerged in the south American high plains 2000 years ago. See the many anthropomorphic designs carved on stone, worshiped by the Pucara civilization, don't miss the famous sculpture called: The Beheader. Arrival time to Puno city will be by 5:00 PM.
