DAY 1: RECEPTION AND TOUR TO THE CITY OF CUSCO On the day of your arrival at the Cusco airport, we will be waiting for you to immediately transfer you. Upon arrival at the hotel you can taste the famous coca tea, then you can rest and acclimatize, you can go for a gentle walk through the main streets of the city. At approximately 1:00 p.m. we will pick you up to begin the tour of the city of Cusco and its surroundings. This excursion includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas, the Cusco Cathedral, the Church of Santo Domingo, the Temple of Coricancha and the nearby ruins of Q'enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the Sacsayhuaman fortress. DAY 2: TOUR TO MACHU PICCHU IN ONE DAY We will pick you up to take you to the train station to begin the excursion to Machu Picchu, the trip lasts on average 4 hours. Upon arrival at the train station in the town of Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for us. With him, we will take the bus that will take us uphill for 30 minutes to the lost city of the Incas. The excursion includes a guided tour of the citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. Our tour will last approximately two hours. Then we will have time to go down to Aguas Calientes and have lunch. You must arrive at the train station at least 30 minutes before the return time. The outbound journey will be repeated. Upon arrival at the station, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. DAY 3: TOUR TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS We will pick you up at 08:00 hrs. The tour will begin with a stop at the natural viewpoint of Corao where the guide will give you an introduction about the Sacred Valley. You will continue the tour enjoying a beautiful landscape. The first place to visit will be the traditional Indian market of Pisaq, here you can do some shopping for souvenirs or crafts. You will ascend to the Archaeological Center of Pisaq where after a short walk you will reach the main Inca enclosures. Continuing with the trip you will go to the city of Urubamba where you will find an exclusive restaurant of local cuisine. In the afternoon we will visit the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, considered the living Inca town due to the preservation of customs and urban style that still have its streets. On the way back to Cusco we will visit the picturesque town of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal estate of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are located. You will also admire the well-preserved Inca Wall in the main square and visit the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes in the portico. DAY 4: FAREWELL Two hours before your return flight, we will pick you up and take you to the airport to check your ticket. You must pay the airport tax and then board the departure lounge.
