Description
To guarantee your participation in this tour program, it is essential to make a reservation at least one month in advance or check the availability of tickets for Machu Picchu on the desired date. The itinerary includes the following: DAY 1: AIRPORT ARRIVAL - LIMA TOUR: The activity begins at 2:00 pm with the transfer from your hotel. We will explore the pyramid of Huaca Pucllana and the historic center, including squares, churches and emblematic streets. You will enjoy a tasting at the Chocolate Museum and a tour of the Convent of San Francisco and its catacombs. We will finish around 6:00 pm. DAY 2: ICA - BALLESTAS ISLANDS - HUACACHINA: We start early, between 4:00 and 5:00 am, with a visit to the Ballestas Islands to observe the marine life. After lunch at a vineyard, we will head to Huacachina to enjoy tubing and sandboarding. We will return to Lima around 10:30 pm. DAY 3: FLIGHT OVER THE NAZCA LINES: At 8:00 am, we will depart to Nazca for an exciting 30-minute flight over the famous lines. Then, we will head to Ica, where we will take the Cruz del Sur tourist bus back to Lima, with transportation to the airport included. DAY 4: AIRPORT RECEPTION - CUSCO TOUR: We will start with a transfer from your hotel at 9:00 am to explore the city of Cusco, including Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. We will return around 2:30 pm. DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY - TRIP TO MACHU PICCHU: Departure at 7:00 am. We will visit Pisaq, then enjoy lunch in Urubamba and a guided tour in Ollantaytambo. We will board the train to Aguas Calientes and check in at the hotel. DAY 6: MACHU PICCHU: After breakfast, we will take a bus to Machu Picchu for a guided tour. Then, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, we will transfer back to Cusco for the night. DAY 7: LAKE HUMANTAY: Departure from the hotel at 4:00 am. We will travel to Mollepata for breakfast before a 2-hour hike to Humantay Lake. After lunch, we will return to Cusco around 6:00 pm. DAY 8: MARAS AND MORAY SALARIES: We will start the day by picking you up from your hotel at 8:00 am to visit Chinchero, Moray and Maras. Return to Cusco around 3:00 pm, leaving the afternoon free. DAY 9: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN: Departure from the hotel at 4:00 am. Transfer to Tintinco for breakfast and then hike 2.5 hours to the Colored Mountain. Lunch in Tintinco and return to Cusco around 5:00 pm.
